This group has a mixture of talks and field trips. Talks are preferred in the dry autumn months, but in spring we make the most of the
flowering season by having guided nature strolls, learning about the plant species and any fauna we manage to find, along the way.
Our spring 2023 programme will take the form of botanical strolls led by Chris Morgan, on the following dates:
Thursday 9 February
Thursday 9 March
Thursday 13 April
Thursday 11 May
David and Ros Sparrow have spent 20 years studying and photographing the fauna of Cyprus and have worked closely with expert scientists on many animal orders. They have produced two books: "The Amphibians and Reptiles of Cyprus" and "The Wildlife of Cyprus" which brought together 44 expert authors.
The group also benefits from members with extensive botanical knowledge.
Ros and David are glad to help with photo IDs or other questions regarding species found in Cyprus.
