Akamas Short Mat Bowls Club (ASMBC) formed in January 2019 and there are currently twenty three players, male and female, of a variety of ages and abilities.
In addition to the above meetings, there are league matches with the six other short mat bowls clubs spread across the Republic of Cyprus, culminating in the Cyprus National Championship each year.
Moreover, club players have the opportunity to enter competitions abroad, such as the UK, Northern Ireland and Norway.
